Flexibility of bamboo makes curveliner plug-in space Bamboonion is new experimental design for the plug-in cultural space. Focused on the bamboo’s flexibility, stiffness, and sustainable aspects of rapidly renewable resource, it provides future’s plug-in space prototypes. Through the flexibility of bamboo, the curvelinear space attaches the outside of building like a terrace. In order to achieve structural safety, anchoring system including steel casing attached to mullion/transom and the high friction force glass absorbers connected with curtain wall system. At punched wall building, the anchoring systems connect into outside wall for resisting bearing loads.
